We are beyond thrilled to be entering our 6th season offering a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program here at Westward Orchards! A CSA is a great opportunity to eat fresh, local, and seasonal fruits and vegetables while supporting your local farm. Here at Westward Orchards, our member experience is incredibly important to us. Because of this, we offer a flexible pick up schedule, weekly emails about your share with a few recipe suggestions and a 15% member discount on all Westward Orchards grown produce; in the event you want to supplement your share. We will also be sprinkling in other surprise member perks throughout the season!
AVAILABLE SHARES
15 week Fruit + Vegetable Share: this share runs from the week of July 17th – October 23rd. Members can expect an assortment of summer/fall fruits and vegetables. Available in half and full sizes. Optional weekly add-on of fresh cage free eggs from Lilac Hedge Farm.
20 week Fruit + Vegetable Share: this share runs from the week of July 17th – November 27th. Members can expect an assortment of summer/fall fruits and vegetables. This share also has 5 weeks of early winter offerings from cold weather crops as well as local honey and maple syrup. Available in half and full sizes. Optional weekly add-on of fresh cage free eggs from Lilac Hedge Farm.
10 week Fruit Only Share: This share runs from the week of July 31st – October 2nd. Maybe you grow your own veggies at home or you don’t really care for veggies at all! This share will provide you with Westward Orchards fruit on a weekly basis. Members can expect peaches, nectarines, blueberries, strawberries and melons. Pick ups for fruit only shares are Monday + Tuesday 9am-5pm.
WO Freedom Share: This share allows you to support Westward Orchards while not having to commit to a weekly share. Give us $300 and we’ll give you $325 in farm dollars. Spend it when you want – on what you want! Freedom Share holders also receive our member discount.
Lilac Hedge Farm Bi-Weekly Meat Share: will be offering a 5 month/bi-weekly meat share program featuring Lilac Hedge Farm’s sustainably raised meats. Located in Lilac Hedge Farm focuses on meats raised responsibly with extreme attention to care, comfort, nutrition and the quality of the animals. This meat share will run along our fresh produce CSA beginning the week of July 17th. The deadline to be included in week 1 of our meat share will be Sunday, July 9th at 11:59pm.
