2020 FALL PYO WEEKLY UPDATE

september 19-25, 2020

A quintessential fall weekend is upon us! For PYO apples we are recommending Macs, Cortlands, Gala and Macoun in our orchards. PYO bags are sold outside to the LEFT of our building from 10am-4pm. Our orchards and other sales close at 5pm.

In an effort to minimize risk to our customers, and our small family staffed team, we are unable to allow customers into our store at this time. We have migrated our store to be available online, and recommend placing an order to pickup on our porch after your PYO activities.

Place an order through our online store to pickup on our porch after picking. We’re stocked with all your favorite fall treats! If you forget to place an order in advance, we’ll have a selection of #westward grown produce available for live sales on our porch.

Read on to learn more about how we’re operating and what to expect when visiting us this fall PYO season please visit the link in our profile!

DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

WE ARE OPERATING OUR FARM STORE + FALL PICK YOUR OWN
A LITTLE DIFFERENTLY THIS SEASON

In an effort to minimize risk to our customers, and our small family staffed team, we are unable to allow customers into our store at this time. This also means we are not offering our lunch counter this year.

We have many of your favorite fall treats available in our online store that you can order and bring home to enjoy. We encourage you to place an order, and choose a pickup time based on when you plan to be finished with your pick-your-own activities.

Our ever popular apple cider donuts, and drinks will be available for sale outside under a tent. And if you didn’t place an online order before visiting us, we will have a limited selection of #westwardgrown produce available on our covered porch.

PICK YOUR OWN
GUIDELINES & PROTOCOLS

Social distancing of at least 6 ft. should be observed and maintained throughout all areas of our farm.

Masks are required. We ask that any guest over the age of 2 years be properly fitted with a mask.

Eating and / or sampling fruit in the fields and orchards is not permitted, per order of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Hand washing & hand sanitizer stations are readily available. Frequent hand washing is strongly advised. Please wash hands before and after participating in PYO activities.

PICK YOUR OWN

PUMPKINS

Due to social distancing guidelines, and only having one wagon, we have made the difficult decision not to run our wagon ride to our pumpkin patch this fall. PYO pumpkins will still be available, but instead we will bring the patch to you.

We have a beautiful pumpkin crop this season, so we don't doubt you'll find a great one to bring home!

ALL FOOD & BEVERAGES
ARE “TO GO” ITEMS

cider donuts, fruit & veggies, etc.

Due to the need to remove masks in order to consume these items, we kindly ask that you take these items “to go” and consume them off the farm.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
