Welcoming Our 2018 Season

Every year we close the farm store for the winter months – January 1st through May 31st. We had a great season last year and we are eager to try some new things for 2018. We are looking forward to our 7th season offering our fruit & vegetable CSA. What is a CSA you ask?! CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. This is model that many small farms use to sell their crops before they have actually harvested. It has been instrumental in our viability these past few years, and we look forward to seeing it grow each year!

While our growing season has been underway for a couple months – we are thrilled to announce that our farm store is now open for the 2018 season! We have made a few changes inside, and can’t wait for you to see them! Jus like last season, our 2018 store hours will be the same as before – 9:00am – 5:00pm | 7 days a week! Be sure to stop in for breakfast, lunch, coffee and a treat, as well as fixings for dinner! Our freezer is stocked with items from other local farms/producers – Lilac Hedge Farm’s pasture raised meats, Deano’s Pasta & Sauces, Aristocrat Chicken/Turkey Pies from Upton, MA and our own BBQ pulled chicken/pork! We also carry Crescent Ridge milk, cream & ice-cream and homemade pies from Valley View Orchards in Hebron, ME.

We have some exciting events for the coming season – starting with Tractor Day on June 16th from 10am-1pm. Come out and visit with Farmer Chris and all his tractors, play on our play-set, have lunch on the porch and go for a wagon ride. We are also hoping to have some special guest visitors from our friends at Harvard Alpaca Ranch – assuming their mama Alpaca isn’t having her baby that day! We will also have a HUGE porch sale with select items, including garden pottery, marked 50-75% off!

We are looking forward to another successful season ahead of us – and with all your support we are sure it will be a great one!
